Zoetis is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Management Associate to join their remote ZRL Project Management department. This full-time role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to program and project development within a leading animal health company.
As a Project Management Associate, you will play a vital role in supporting Project Managers across the entire project lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include conducting research and analysis, preparing and updating project documentation, coordinating with stakeholders, and tracking project progress. You will also have the chance to manage smaller projects independently as assigned.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Project Managers with project scope definition, objective setting, and requirement gathering.
- Develop and maintain project documents, ensuring effective communication among internal and external teams.
- Monitor project timelines, performance, and identify potential issues.
- Contribute to maintaining project quality, compliance, and alignment with organizational goals.
- Provide administrative and logistical support to project teams.
- Actively participate in project team meetings and provide regular progress updates.
- Collaborate with the PMO and Program Manager to establish consistent implementation standards.
- Support ZRL colleagues in their project management efforts, as directed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 1-2 years of experience working on projects preferred.
- Experience in the veterinary or laboratory industry is a plus.
- Basic understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and self-discipline.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and ability to learn project management software quickly.
- Ability to work effectively in ambiguous situations and across organizational boundaries.
- Comfortable with public speaking in small group settings.
- Must be able to work remotely and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% at times.
Compensation & Benefits:
Zoetis offers a competitive base pay range for this remote position, which varies based on location:
- Colorado: $53,000 – $76,000
- California, NJ Remote, NY Remote, Washington: $60,000 – $86,000
