About the Role
Lula Commerce is seeking an SMB Sales Representative to help independent convenience stores and quick-service restaurants grow their businesses through digital commerce and delivery solutions.
In this role, you will engage directly with business owners and decision-makers, helping them understand how Lula’s platform can simplify delivery operations and generate additional revenue opportunities. Working primarily through phone-based outreach, you will guide interested businesses through the onboarding process and support them as they begin using the platform.
This opportunity is ideal for sales professionals who enjoy building relationships, communicating value clearly, and helping small business owners adopt technology that supports growth.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Contact qualified business owners and decision-makers across assigned territories
- Introduce Lula’s digital commerce and delivery solutions
- Explain product benefits in clear and practical terms
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions
- Guide prospects through the signup and onboarding process
- Build trust and credibility with small business operators
Customer Acquisition
- Maintain a consistent outbound calling schedule
- Follow up with interested prospects and active opportunities
- Convert qualified leads into active platform users
- Support customer activation and successful adoption
- Meet or exceed weekly and monthly performance goals
Relationship Management
- Develop strong relationships with convenience store and restaurant owners
- Address customer questions and concerns professionally
- Help prospects understand potential business benefits
- Maintain a positive customer experience throughout the sales process
- Serve as a trusted resource during the evaluation process
CRM & Pipeline Management
- Accurately document customer interactions and sales activities
- Track lead progress and follow-up commitments
- Maintain organized records within CRM systems
- Monitor sales pipeline performance
- Share customer feedback and market insights with internal teams
Skills & Qualifications
Required Skills
- 3–5+ years of experience in inside sales, telesales, business development, or related sales roles
- Strong phone-based communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to explain products and services clearly and confidently
- Experience managing sales pipelines and customer follow-ups
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented mindset
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Comfortable with high-volume outreach activities
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
- Authorization to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling to convenience stores, restaurants, or retail businesses
- SaaS, payments, or technology sales experience
- Familiarity with delivery marketplace platforms
- Experience with CRM and sales engagement tools
- Multilingual communication skills, including Spanish
- Background in SMB sales or business development
