Role Overview
SAP is seeking a Managing Partner (MP) to lead strategic customer engagement in the Oil & Gas industry. Based in Spain, the MP will drive value-focused relationships with key customers, ensuring alignment between their business objectives and SAP solutions. The role involves executing the Strategic Customer Program (SCP) methodology to deliver business transformation, growth, and measurable outcomes across traditional and emerging energy sectors.
Key Areas of Impact
Strategic Customer Leadership
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with C-level executives and senior stakeholders.
- Co-create strategic roadmaps emphasizing digital transformation, sustainability, energy transition, and operational excellence.
Execution & Program Management
- Lead the SAP Strategic Customer Program (SCP) with cross-functional teams, ensuring unified account management.
- Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to evaluate KPIs, value delivery, and future growth opportunities.
Business Development & Revenue Growth
- Expand SAP’s footprint by leveraging the full solution portfolio, including cloud, digital core, data, and AI-enabled services.
- Focus on net bookings and cloud revenue growth through strategic account planning and adoption initiatives.
Governance & Collaboration
- Implement multi-level governance frameworks to align SAP, partners, and customers.
- Collaborate with system integrators, hyperscalers, technology partners, and consulting firms to maximize business impact.
Market & Regulatory Insights
- Track M&A activity, portfolio shifts, and energy-transition initiatives.
- Navigate local and European regulatory, compliance, sustainability, and data-privacy requirements.
Candidate Qualifications
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience in strategic account leadership within the Oil & Gas or Energy sectors.
- Expertise in value-based selling, executive relationship management, and strategic decision-making.
- Solid understanding of SAP solutions and their application in complex, asset-intensive environments.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver measurable business outcomes and exceed revenue targets.
- Experience with multinational organizations, sustainability, decarbonization, and operational efficiency.
- Knowledge of highly regulated environments, including health, safety, environmental, and data governance.
Language Requirements
- Fluency in English and Spanish is mandatory.
- Additional languages are advantageous.
