Remote .NET Application Architect – Enterprise Cloud Systems

Bright Vision Technologies is hiring an experienced .NET Application Architect to design, build, and support secure enterprise applications using Microsoft technologies. This full-time remote position is available to qualified candidates located in the United States.

The role is suited to a senior software professional with strong C#, .NET Core, API development, cloud deployment, database, and modern front-end experience. You will guide architecture decisions while remaining actively involved in implementation, troubleshooting, code quality, and production support.

Job Overview

As a .NET Application Architect, you will contribute across the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and long-term application support.

You will help create scalable web applications, distributed services, responsive user interfaces, and cloud-integrated systems. The position requires practical engineering experience combined with the ability to document technical decisions, review code, resolve production issues, and align solutions with enterprise security and reliability standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop enterprise-grade web applications and distributed software systems.
  • Build secure and high-performing backend services using C#, .NET Core, and ASP.NET Web API.
  • Develop scalable microservices, service-based architectures, and event-driven workflows.
  • Create responsive front-end applications using Angular, React, or similar frameworks.
  • Design and optimize SQL Server databases, stored procedures, indexes, and complex queries.
  • Prepare architecture diagrams, technical specifications, API documentation, and operational runbooks.
  • Implement authentication and authorization using OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT, Azure AD, or Okta.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines, automated builds, deployment workflows, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
  • Deploy and maintain applications in Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services environments.
  • Review code and ensure development work meets architecture, security, performance, and quality standards.
  • Investigate production incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and implement lasting technical fixes.
  • Identify technical debt, performance limitations, and architectural risks before they affect reliability.
  • Collaborate with developers, product stakeholders, and technical teams in Agile or Scrum environments.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline.
  • Minimum 72 months of professional software development or application architecture experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in C#, .NET Core, and ASP.NET Web API.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, design patterns, and system design.
  • Experience developing front-end applications with Angular, React, or another component-based framework.
  • Strong SQL Server knowledge, including query optimization, stored procedures, indexing, and performance tuning.
  • Experience with Git-based development workflows and CI/CD tools.
  • Hands-on experience deploying applications to Azure or AWS.
  • Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and application performance optimization skills.
  • Experience supporting enterprise environments where security, reliability, and auditability are important.
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively within a distributed engineering team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience designing and operating production microservices.
  • Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and container-based deployment practices.
  • Understanding of distributed systems concepts such as idempotency, eventual consistency, and circuit breakers.
  • Experience implementing unit, integration, and end-to-end automated testing.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar release and pipeline management platforms.
  • Experience with clean architecture, dependency injection, asynchronous programming, and middleware design.

Employment and Work Authorization

  • Full-time, direct W2 employment.
  • 100% remote position within the United States.
  • U.S. citizens, permanent residents, EAD holders, and eligible H-1B transfer candidates may apply.
  • New H-1B sponsorship is not available for this position.

Compensation

The annual salary range for this position is $100,000 to $150,000. Final compensation may depend on professional experience, technical skills, qualifications, and other job-related considerations.

About the Opportunity

This position offers experienced .NET professionals the opportunity to influence application architecture while remaining closely involved in hands-on software delivery. You will work on cloud, enterprise, data, and integration projects that require reliable engineering practices and thoughtful technical leadership.

Apply for this remote .NET Application Architect opportunity and help design secure, scalable enterprise software systems.
