Remote Sales Director – Enterprise Software Solutions

About the Role
As a Sales Director, you will own a designated sales territory and lead the complete enterprise sales cycle, from identifying qualified prospects to negotiating contracts and closing strategic opportunities. You will work closely with internal technical, marketing, and customer success teams to deliver tailored software support and managed services solutions that address complex business challenges.
This position is designed for experienced enterprise sales professionals who thrive in consultative selling environments, consistently exceed revenue targets, and build long-term relationships with executive decision-makers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic territory plans to generate new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified enterprise prospects.
- Manage the complete B2B sales cycle from prospecting through contract negotiation and closing.
- Develop trusted relationships with executive stakeholders, including C-level decision-makers.
- Collaborate with technical specialists and cross-functional teams to deliver customized client solutions.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasting and opportunity management using Salesforce CRM.
- Achieve or exceed quarterly and annual sales revenue goals.
- Travel within the assigned region to meet customers, conduct presentations, and strengthen client relationships.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to fellow sales professionals when appropriate.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification (Master’s degree preferred).
- 120 months (10+ years) of enterprise software, technology services, or SaaS sales experience.
- Proven success managing complex enterprise sales opportunities.
- Experience prospecting new business and developing executive-level client relationships.
- Strong understanding of consultative and solution-based selling methodologies.
- Experience using Salesforce CRM or similar customer relationship management platforms.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong organizational, planning, and pipeline management abilities.
- Ability to collaborate across multiple internal business functions.
- Willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory as business needs require.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling Oracle, SAP, VMware, or enterprise software support solutions.
- History of consistently exceeding enterprise sales quotas.
- Experience mentoring or coaching sales teams.
- Strong understanding of enterprise application management and digital transformation initiatives.
