About the Role
EY is seeking a Senior Frontend Developer to join its technology team supporting enterprise-level digital transformation projects. This position is ideal for experienced developers who enjoy building scalable web applications, solving technical challenges, and delivering high-quality user experiences.
As part of a collaborative engineering environment, you will contribute to the design, development, testing, and deployment of modern web solutions for clients in the financial services and enterprise technology sectors.
This role offers the opportunity to work with modern frontend frameworks, cloud-based development practices, and Agile methodologies while collaborating with global teams on impactful technology projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop modern web applications and user interfaces
- Collaborate with project teams to analyze business requirements
- Build scalable frontend solutions using modern JavaScript frameworks
- Integrate applications with RESTful APIs and backend services
- Participate in software architecture and technical design discussions
- Develop responsive and accessible user experiences
- Perform testing, debugging, and application optimization
- Contribute to Agile ceremonies and sprint activities
- Ensure software quality through code reviews and testing practices
- Support deployment and ongoing application improvements
- Follow web security best practices and industry standards
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver project goals
Skills & Qualifications
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience
- Must currently reside in Chile
- Strong experience with Angular 12+ and modern JavaScript development
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, Sass, Bootstrap, and responsive design
- Experience with React, Next.js, Vue.js, React Native, or similar frontend technologies
- Experience working with Node.js and Express.js
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs and JSON integrations
- Understanding of frontend architecture patterns and state management solutions such as NgRx
- Experience with Git-based source control systems
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes
- Strong understanding of web security principles and OWASP guidelines
- Fluent English communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with testing frameworks such as Selenium, Jest, Cucumber, or similar tools
- Knowledge of Test Driven Development (TDD) or Behavior Driven Development (BDD)
- Experience with performance testing and application optimization
- Background working within enterprise software environments
- Experience supporting large-scale financial services or consulting projects
- Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies
