About the Role
Kojo is seeking an Enterprise Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help expand its presence within the commercial construction industry. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying potential customers, initiating conversations with decision-makers, and generating qualified sales opportunities for the company’s Account Executive team.
This position is ideal for sales professionals who enjoy prospecting, relationship building, and uncovering business challenges that technology can solve. You will work directly with enterprise-level construction companies and play a critical role in driving new business growth.
Successful candidates will combine strong communication skills with curiosity, persistence, and a desire to learn about both technology and the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and engage enterprise-level construction companies through outbound outreach
- Conduct high-volume cold calling and targeted prospecting activities
- Identify decision-makers and key stakeholders within target accounts
- Schedule qualified discovery meetings for Account Executives
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline
- Utilize sales engagement, automation, and AI-powered prospecting tools
- Research prospective clients and understand their business challenges
- Develop and refine messaging strategies based on prospect feedback
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to improve outreach effectiveness
- Meet or exceed monthly pipeline and meeting generation goals
- Maintain accurate prospecting and pipeline records within company systems
- Become knowledgeable about commercial construction workflows and industry trends
Skills & Qualifications
Required Skills
- Previous experience in a Sales Development Representative (SDR) or Business Development Representative (BDR) role
- Experience conducting high-volume outbound prospecting activities
- Strong cold-calling and communication abilities
- Ability to identify business challenges and uncover customer needs
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Comfortable using CRM platforms and sales engagement tools
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment
- Strong problem-solving and relationship-building capabilities
- Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving performance goals
- Ability to adapt quickly and implement feedback effectively
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling into construction, trades, or industrial markets
- Familiarity with enterprise sales environments
