About the Company
Jerry.ai is a car ownership app designed to help people manage major vehicle-related needs in one place. The platform supports areas such as car insurance, financing, maintenance, safety, and ownership costs.
The company uses artificial intelligence and automation to simplify tasks that are often confusing, expensive, or time-consuming for car owners.
About the Role
Jerry.ai is hiring a Community Manager to help build trust with current and future users across online communities where people already discuss car insurance, repairs, ownership costs, and personal finance.
This role is focused on organic community growth across platforms such as Reddit, Quora, TikTok, YouTube, and similar channels. You will help Jerry.ai participate in real conversations, answer questions in a useful way, and create a community strategy that feels authentic rather than corporate.
This is a strong fit for someone who understands online culture, writes naturally, and knows how to make practical topics feel helpful, human, and worth engaging with.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and grow Jerry.ai’s organic presence across Reddit, Quora, TikTok, YouTube, and other relevant platforms
- Develop a clear community playbook for when to post, reply, engage, or step back
- Help grow Jerry.ai’s owned communities into trusted spaces for car owners
- Create content and engagement strategies that support trust, visibility, and long-term growth
- Work with Growth, Content, and SEO teams to keep messaging consistent across channels
- Use AI tools where helpful to support research, workflow, and scalable content planning
- Monitor community sentiment, referral traffic, share of voice, and visibility in AI-driven search results
- Identify real user questions, concerns, and trends that can inform future content and product strategy
Skills & Qualifications
Required Skills
- 3+ years of experience in community management, organic social media, or a related role
- Strong understanding of Reddit, TikTok, Quora, YouTube, and platform-specific community behavior
- Excellent writing skills with a natural, non-corporate tone
- Ability to build trust in online communities through useful and authentic engagement
- Understanding of SEO and how helpful content earns visibility over time
- Ability to make complex or stressful topics feel simple and approachable
- Strong judgment around when to engage, respond, or avoid forcing a conversation
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in fintech, insurtech, consumer apps, automotive, personal finance, or regulated industries
- Experience growing branded communities or subreddits
- Familiarity with AI tools for content research, workflow support, or engagement planning
- Understanding of LLM citations, organic visibility, and community-driven search discovery
- Experience turning community insights into marketing or content recommendations
Who Will Succeed In This Role?
This role is best for someone who understands how real people talk online. The strongest candidate will know how to provide value without sounding promotional and can build trust in communities where users are skeptical of brands.
You will likely succeed if you enjoy social listening, thoughtful replies, helpful content, and long-term community building more than quick promotional wins.
