Key Focus Areas
The Training and Talent Development (TTD) Manager will oversee and enhance USPS OIG’s organization-wide learning and professional development programs. Responsibilities include:
- Inclusive Learning Ecosystems
- Designing high-quality training opportunities for employees at all grade levels.
- Promoting accessibility and inclusivity in professional development initiatives.
- Capacity Building
- Collaborating with leaders and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to design and implement training solutions tailored to organizational needs.
- Identifying skill gaps and recommending evidence-based improvements.
- Digital Strategy & Learning Systems
- Managing online learning platforms and vendor relationships.
- Overseeing the Learning Management System (LMS) to ensure seamless delivery of training programs.
- Business Operations & Policy Development
- Providing advisory services and policy interpretations related to employee development.
- Assessing performance measures, ensuring compliance, and recommending process improvements.
- Organizational Change & Leadership Development
- Driving initiatives that strengthen leadership pipelines.
- Leading teams in planning, implementing, and evaluating development programs.
Candidate Profile
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
Minimum Qualifications
- At least 4 years of experience managing training or employee development programs, including curriculum design and training implementation.
- At least 4 years of experience leading or managing multiple programs/projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Adult Learning, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as ATD, SHRM, CPTM, or PMP.
- Familiarity with OIG operations, federal frameworks, and advanced instructional design methods.
- Strong skills in communication, team leadership, and performance evaluation.
