As a key member of the ICT team, you will be responsible for the implementation, support, and maintenance of a wide range of network technologies, including switches, routers, wireless, SD-WAN, and firewalls.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
- Implementing, supporting, and maintaining the global network infrastructure.
- Working on complex network projects and collaborating with external technical resources.
- Providing comprehensive support for all network-related services and projects worldwide.
- Monitoring network stability, availability, and performance to ensure seamless operations.
- Participating in ISO IT audits and supporting remediation efforts.
- Performing physical work such as hardware rack/stack, cabling, and troubleshooting in office and plant environments.
- Staying updated on industry trends and contributing to the implementation of new technologies.
- Executing change management according to established procedures.
- Participating in after-hours and on-call activities as needed.
- Ensuring compliance with ethical guidelines, quality management systems, and company policies.
- Collaborating with local business units and acting as a liaison for IT infrastructure activities.
- Working effectively with external suppliers, consultants, and global internal customers.
What You Need to Bring:
- A University degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- A specialization in Scientific/Technical/Computer Science or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in network engineering.
- Hands-on experience deploying and managing network equipment, including switches, routers, and firewalls.
- Experience managing Aruba wireless networks.
- Proven experience in switch and wireless hardware deployment in a global environment.
- Hands-on experience deploying and managing SD-WAN technology.
- Data center experience is essential.
- Experience supporting network infrastructure in a manufacturing plant environment.
- 5+ years of experience in routing and switching.
- ITIL Foundation certification or equivalent experience is desirable.
- Experience with co-location facilities, Aruba Clearpass, Solarwinds, and CUCM are advantageous.
- Knowledge of Aruba Central and Palo Alto hardware is a plus.
- Familiarity with dynamic routing protocols is a plus.
