Vehicle Electrical Defect Control Expert

Maruti Suzuki India is seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Electrical Defect Control Expert to join our team in Manesar or Kharkhoda. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of vehicle electronics and electrical systems, as well as experience in troubleshooting and resolving DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Code) issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and execute vehicle electrical and electronics-related activities.
  • Record, analyze, and troubleshoot DTC issues during new model development trials.
  • Coordinate with the plant for operator skill-up and process improvement to reduce DTC issues.
  • Act as a communication link between Production and QA/Engineering for quick sharing and resolution of issues.
  • Identify, simulate, and report DTC issues in new model trials.
  • Support PE/Production in implementing new vehicle technologies.
  • Manage and analyze DTC trends for new and running models.
  • Prepare a horizontal implementation strategy and ensure the elimination or reduction of chronic/critical issues.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 3-8 years of experience in the automotive industry.
  • Strong understanding of vehicle electronics and electrical systems.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and resolving DTC issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
