About the Role
insightsoftware is seeking an experienced Enterprise Account Executive to join its Equity Management division. This role focuses on helping growing private companies and public organizations modernize how they manage equity programs, ownership structures, reporting requirements, and compliance processes.
The ideal candidate is a motivated sales professional with a strong track record of developing new business opportunities, managing complex sales cycles, and building relationships with executive-level stakeholders.
This position offers the opportunity to work remotely while helping organizations adopt innovative financial technology solutions that support long-term business growth.
Key Responsibilities
New Business Development
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within private and public market organizations.
- Build relationships with prospective clients and key decision-makers.
- Generate and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities.
- Develop territory plans designed to exceed revenue targets.
Enterprise Sales Management
- Lead prospects through the entire sales process from initial outreach to contract execution.
- Conduct discovery conversations to understand customer goals, challenges, and requirements.
- Present tailored solutions that align with business objectives and operational needs.
- Manage multiple opportunities simultaneously while maintaining forecast accuracy.
Strategic Relationship Building
- Establish trusted relationships with finance leaders, executives, and business stakeholders.
- Collaborate with industry partners and referral sources to generate new opportunities.
- Expand professional networks within the equity management and financial technology sectors.
- Serve as a trusted advisor throughout the customer buying journey.
Consultative Selling
- Apply structured sales methodologies to uncover business needs and demonstrate value.
- Educate prospects on how equity management solutions can improve efficiency, compliance, and reporting accuracy.
- Deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations.
- Navigate complex purchasing processes involving multiple stakeholders.
Pipeline & Forecast Management
- Maintain accurate opportunity records and forecasting data.
- Monitor sales performance against monthly, quarterly, and annual goals.
- Ensure CRM systems are consistently updated with relevant prospect information.
- Develop strategies to accelerate deal progression and close rates.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with product, marketing, customer success, and leadership teams to support customer acquisition efforts.
- Share market insights and customer feedback to help improve products and sales strategies.
- Contribute to team initiatives focused on continuous improvement and growth.
Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Professional Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in software sales or SaaS business development.
- Proven success managing complex B2B sales cycles.
- Demonstrated history of consistently achieving or exceeding sales quotas.
- Experience selling enterprise technology solutions to multiple stakeholders.

- Strong prospecting and lead-generation capabilities.
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with executive-level decision-makers.
- Strong organizational and pipeline management skills.

Preferred Qualifications
Candidates may stand out if they have:
- Experience selling equity management, financial technology, or governance solutions.
- Knowledge of public and private capital markets.
- Familiarity with enterprise sales methodologies such as MEDDIC, MEDDPICC, Challenger, SPIN, or similar frameworks.
- Experience working with CFOs, finance teams, legal departments, or corporate governance professionals.
- Previous experience using CRM platforms and sales forecasting tools.
