About the Role
Palette Media is seeking an experienced Director of Client Services to lead strategic client partnerships across corporate affairs, public affairs, and political communications initiatives.
This leadership role is designed for a professional who can manage high-profile client relationships while overseeing the planning, execution, and performance of complex marketing and communications campaigns. You will serve as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, helping organizations navigate evolving digital media environments and connect with audiences through creator-driven strategies.
The position requires a combination of strategic thinking, operational leadership, relationship management, and business development expertise. Successful candidates will be comfortable leading multiple initiatives simultaneously while maintaining exceptional service standards for clients.
Key Responsibilities
Client Leadership & Strategic Advisory
- Serve as the primary strategic contact for assigned client accounts
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with executive-level stakeholders
- Guide long-term communication and marketing strategies
- Provide recommendations on audience engagement, messaging, and campaign execution
- Support clients through high-visibility communications initiatives
- Ensure campaigns align with business objectives and performance goals
Campaign Strategy & Performance
- Lead integrated creator marketing and communications programs
- Analyze campaign performance and identify optimization opportunities
- Translate audience insights into actionable recommendations
- Oversee the creation of presentations, reports, campaign briefs, and strategic communications materials
- Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Collaborate with internal teams across strategy, production, talent management, business development, and analytics
- Improve internal workflows and operational processes
- Help drive organizational efficiency and scalable growth
- Support team development and foster a collaborative work environment
Business Development & Industry Engagement
- Participate in new business opportunities, proposals, and client presentations
- Identify opportunities to expand existing client relationships
- Represent the company at industry events and professional engagements
- Contribute thought leadership on creator marketing, digital influence, and emerging media trends
Skills & Qualifications
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, Business, or a related field
- 8–12 years of professional experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in client services, communications, public affairs, advertising, creator marketing, or related industries
- Experience managing enterprise-level clients and large-scale campaigns
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
- Proven ability to develop strategic communications and marketing initiatives
- Strong project management and organizational capabilities
- Experience managing budgets, timelines, and campaign deliverables
- Ability to lead multiple priorities in fast-paced environments
- Deep understanding of creator marketing and digital media ecosystems
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing influencer or creator partnership programs
- Existing relationships within creator economy networks
- Knowledge of user-generated content (UGC) strategies
- Familiarity with paid media and social distribution tactics
- Experience coaching, mentoring, and leading teams
- Background working with public affairs, political communications, or corporate reputation programs
