United States (Remote) – Cerner, a leading global healthcare technology company, is seeking a highly experienced and passionate Database Security Program Manager to join their dynamic Security Program Office. This is a fully remote opportunity for an individual contributor with 10+ years of relevant experience.

In this crucial role, you will be instrumental in establishing and driving high-level security criteria for Cerner’s database division products and services. You will work on programs focused on making their products resilient to exploitation, ensuring customers receive the most secure solutions for their enterprises.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Defining security criteria for products and services.
- Driving adherence to these criteria and proactively removing roadblocks.
- Streamlining processes to optimize support for development goals.
- Translating customer feedback into technical requirements and long-term product strategy.
- Collaborating with development teams to understand and guide the resolution of security vulnerabilities.
- Educating teams on security compliance guidelines.
- Staying updated on industry-wide security standards and advocating for secure coding practices.
What You’ll Bring to the Team:
- 10+ years of relevant work experience, including deep expertise in one or more of the following: Oracle Database, vulnerability assessment, and significant development experience in Java, PL/SQL, C, or C++.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical information effectively to diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to drive activity and influence outcomes within virtual teams.
- Self-motivated with a strong aptitude for independent learning and research.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- A solid foundation and in-depth technical knowledge of security engineering, computer and network security, authentication, security protocols, and applied cryptography is a significant plus.

Compensation & Benefits:
