Internship Overview

This internship offers students the opportunity to contribute to the series support of conventional drivetrain technology, specifically focusing on dual-clutch transmissions for Audi. Interns will gain hands-on experience while supporting the development and testing of proven transmission systems, combining practical learning with academic growth.

Key Area of Impact

  • Expand evaluation of load and temperature profiles for dual-clutch transmissions using MATLAB.
  • Systematically analyze profiles of various vehicle-engine-transmission configurations.
  • Derive limit profiles for mechanical and thermal loads
  • Coordinate results with responsible team members
  • Document work results and contribute to team knowledge

Best Candidate Profile

Education Requirements

  • Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program (minimum 89 credit points) in engineering or a comparable field
  • Demonstrated good to excellent academic performance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong interest in drivetrain technology and basic knowledge of transmission systems
  • Experience with MATLAB and programming
  • High initiative, excellent communication skills, and teamwork orientation
  • Solution-oriented and creative approach to problem-solving
