Role Overview

The Customer Project Manager in Nokia’s Cloud and Network Services (CNS) Europe Program Management Team plays a pivotal role in delivering cloud-native projects for telecommunication operators across Europe. This role requires leading initiatives from conception to completion while ensuring alignment with scope, budget, and quality standards. The manager will cultivate strong customer relationships and collaborate closely with Business Delivery Managers, Technical Managers, Sales, and Engineering teams to drive project success. Additionally, the role involves contributing to strategic discussions on upselling and cross-selling, supporting Nokia’s mission to deliver excellence and customer value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of projects, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, schedule, and quality standards.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders, fostering cross-functional collaboration.
  • Manage project communication, including planning, risk assessment, change management, and opportunity identification.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and project success while maintaining financial performance and contractual obligations.
  • Facilitate project closeout processes and ensure smooth transition and handover of deliverables.
  • Identify and proactively address challenges, translating complex information into actionable insights for stakeholders.
  • Support the sales process by recognizing upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Travel within Europe approximately 20% of the time to engage with stakeholders and manage project activities.

Required Candidate Profile

Required Qualifications:

  • 5–8 years of experience managing projects/programs in telecom or IT, preferably cloud-based.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage stakeholders effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills.
  • Experience in budget management and financial forecasting.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).
  • European Union, Switzerland, or the United Kingdom nationality and residence due to security requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with core network implementation projects, especially in 5G and cloud.
  • PMP or PMI Project Management certification.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders beyond immediate job responsibilities.
  • Capacity to handle multiple projects simultaneously with resilience under pressure.
