The Opportunity
The Digital Media Specialist will play a vital role in shaping how learning and development are experienced across Reece. By combining storytelling, strategy, and production, this role will bring authentic and engaging educational content to life through Reece’s Learning Experience Platform.
Working as part of a passionate creative team, the specialist will help design a library of high-quality, visually engaging materials that empower employees—from new starters to senior managers—to reach their full potential.
Core Responsibilities
In this position, the Digital Media Specialist will:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute photo and video shoots across diverse formats, including interviews, b-roll, tutorials, and event coverage.
- Innovate in storytelling, staying on top of trends in visual media, formats, and technology to elevate the quality of learning content.
- Deliver professional post-production, ensuring excellence in colour grading, sound mixing, and overall visual polish.
- Design and customise vector graphics, using authoring tools to present complex information in an engaging and digestible way.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Reece is seeking a proactive and solutions-oriented professional who thrives on creativity and collaboration. The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Strong videography skills, including lighting, two-camera interview setups, gimbal operation, and audio recording.
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Lightroom.
- Proven ability to edit and assemble interview-based content into compelling narratives.
- Experience developing motion graphics, including overlays, lower thirds, and animation templates.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Additional Skills
While not mandatory, the following skills will be highly regarded:
- Animation expertise—sourcing, customising, and animating stock assets to create bespoke learning visuals.
- Ability to record and edit voiceovers that complement visual storytelling.
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign for layout and design purposes.
