Position Overview

The Senior Analyst, Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), is entrusted with enhancing the company’s ability to anticipate, evaluate, and mitigate risks across all business levels. The role serves as a consultant and facilitator, promoting ERM awareness while ensuring the effective application of frameworks, policies, and tools. By working closely with senior management, corporate divisions, and project teams, the analyst contributes to embedding risk management principles into day-to-day operations and strategic planning.

Main Responsibilities

  • Enterprise Risk Management Excellence
    The Senior Analyst plays a central role in monitoring and supporting the implementation of ADNOC Offshore’s ERM policy and framework. They ensure that risk management practices are consistently applied across complex organizational structures, in line with global standards such as ISO 31000:2018.
  • Systems and Data Integrity
    Acting as System Administrator for ERM-related software, the analyst supports business users, safeguards data accuracy, and ensures reliable reporting on risk identification, analysis, and treatment.
  • Awareness and Capability Building
    Through workshops, training, and coaching, the role drives awareness of ERM principles across the organization. By advising coordinators in each division and mentoring junior analysts, the Senior Analyst fosters a strong risk management culture and supports the professional development of UAE Nationals.
  • Strategic Support and Reporting
    The position requires regular interaction with senior stakeholders, including the Board and shareholder committees. The analyst ensures accurate reporting, provides insights for strategic decision-making, and contributes to the integration of ERM into business planning and performance management.
  • Collaboration and Advisory Role
    Serving as a trusted advisor, the Senior Analyst liaises with internal audit teams, external consultants, and corporate divisions to align risk management initiatives with broader business objectives. They also support strategic initiatives as a subject matter expert, reinforcing ADNOC Offshore’s resilience and competitiveness.
  • Leadership in Operations
    The analyst supervises assigned staff, oversees budget inputs, and ensures compliance with policies, processes, and regulatory requirements. They identify opportunities for continuous improvement, design innovative tools, and benchmark practices against international standards.
  • Commitment to Safety and Sustainability
    In line with ADNOC’s Code of Practices, the Senior Analyst ensures all ERM activities comply with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies, sustainability guidelines, and applicable legislation.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related discipline.

Experience

  • 8–9 years of professional experience, with at least 4 years in auditing or risk management.
  • Previous exposure to the oil and gas industry is preferred.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong strategic thinking with the ability to address enterprise-level risks.
  • Excellent facilitation and presentation skills, with proven ability to engage senior stakeholders.
  • High-level understanding of business processes and process improvement.
  • Strong people skills with the ability to coach, mentor, and influence change.
  • Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.

Certifications

  • An internationally recognized professional qualification in ERM (preferred).

Work Environment

The position is primarily office-based within Abu Dhabi but requires close collaboration across divisions. The role demands occasional facilitation of workshops and interactions with stakeholders at various organizational levels.
