About the Role

Turtles is hiring a remote Operations Assistant to support the day-to-day work that keeps a marketplace running smoothly. This role is ideal for a detail-focused generalist who enjoys organizing listings, tracking inventory, coordinating procurement, and helping logistics workflows stay on track.

You will work across several operational areas, including marketplace listings, vendor coordination, ordering, inventory tracking, and problem resolution. The role is a strong fit for someone who is self-directed, highly organized, and comfortable learning new tools quickly.

This position is not limited to one narrow task. You will be expected to take ownership of miscellaneous operations work and help create better processes as the company continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities

Marketplace Listings

  • Create, update, and maintain product listings across company marketplaces
  • Review listing details for accuracy, completeness, and consistency
  • Help ensure product information is clear, organized, and ready for shoppers
  • Identify listing issues and correct errors before they affect the customer experience

Procurement Support

  • Assist with sourcing, ordering, and vendor coordination
  • Track procurement workflows and follow up on outstanding items
  • Communicate with vendors or internal teams when information is missing
  • Help keep purchasing activity organized and documented

Inventory & Logistics Coordination

  • Monitor inventory records and flag potential issues early
  • Track shipments, stock movement, and logistics-related updates
  • Help unblock operational problems before they affect marketplace performance
  • Support teams with accurate information related to supply, inventory, and fulfillment

Operations Administration

  • Take ownership of general operations tasks as business needs change
  • Work with spreadsheets, tools, and internal systems to manage data and workflows
  • Improve repeatable processes and create structure where needed
  • Document steps, updates, and handoffs clearly so work can scale
