About the Role
Compass Business Solutions is seeking a Director of HR Client Strategy to lead client relationships, guide HR consultants, and help organizations solve critical people and business challenges.
This is a leadership role for experienced HR professionals who enjoy balancing strategy and execution. You’ll oversee client engagements, mentor consulting teams, and act as a trusted advisor to executive leaders navigating growth, organizational change, employee relations, talent development, and workforce planning.

What You’ll Be Doing
Your day-to-day responsibilities may include:
- Leading strategic HR consulting engagements for multiple clients
- Advising executives on workforce and organizational challenges
- Managing and mentoring HR consultants and client service teams
- Supporting talent acquisition and workforce planning initiatives
- Guiding compensation, benefits, and performance management strategies
- Assisting organizations through change management and growth initiatives
- Supporting employee relations and workplace investigations
- Delivering leadership coaching and management development programs
- Helping clients improve engagement, retention, and workplace culture
- Overseeing HR technology and HRIS implementation projects
- Managing client relationships and ensuring service excellence
- Contributing to company growth initiatives and service innovation

Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, or a related field
- 12+ years of progressive HR, talent management, or organizational development experience
- Experience leading HR teams or consulting engagements

- Previous HR consulting experience
- Director-level HR leadership experience
- PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification
- HRIS implementation experience
