About the Role
Akamai is looking for a Senior Product Support Engineer to support its growing Zero Trust Security product portfolio.
This is a highly technical role focused on solving complex customer issues that have been escalated beyond standard support teams. You’ll work directly with engineering, product management, and enterprise customers to diagnose challenging problems, improve platform reliability, and support large-scale security deployments.
This opportunity is ideal for experienced support engineers, cloud specialists, security engineers, and infrastructure professionals who enjoy troubleshooting difficult technical problems and becoming trusted experts in modern cybersecurity technologies.
What You’ll Be Doing
Your day-to-day responsibilities may include:
- Investigating and resolving advanced technical support escalations
- Supporting Zero Trust security and enterprise access solutions
- Troubleshooting authentication, networking, and cloud infrastructure issues
- Working closely with engineering and product teams on software defects
- Analyzing logs, network traffic, and application behavior
- Supporting enterprise customer deployments and integrations
- Assisting with beta programs and partner integrations
- Acting as a subject matter expert for internal and external teams
- Participating in on-call support rotations
- Identifying root causes and recommending long-term solutions
- Helping improve support processes and product reliability
