About the Role
Allianz is seeking a Pollution Claims Adjuster III to manage complex environmental and pollution-related insurance claims.
This role focuses on high-value, technically challenging claims involving environmental contamination, pollution liabilities, Superfund sites, PFAS exposures, cleanup obligations, and environmental litigation.
The position is ideal for experienced claims professionals, environmental liability specialists, insurance attorneys, or coverage experts who enjoy analyzing complex legal and insurance issues while helping resolve significant claims exposures.
What You’ll Be Doing
Your responsibilities may include:
- Managing complex pollution and environmental liability claims
- Evaluating insurance coverage and policy interpretation issues
- Handling both litigated and non-litigated claims
- Coordinating with defense attorneys, consultants, and environmental experts
- Monitoring site remediation and cleanup activities
- Negotiating settlements and claim resolutions
- Assessing claim exposure and financial risk
- Reviewing environmental regulations and liability obligations
- Supporting alternative dispute resolution efforts
- Tracking emerging environmental and pollution-related risks
- Collaborating with legal counsel and internal stakeholders
- Ensuring compliance with insurance regulations and company standards
