About the Role
Bright!Tax is seeking a Client Success Manager to provide outstanding support to clients throughout the U.S. tax preparation process. This remote contractor position is ideal for professionals who enjoy building strong client relationships, coordinating projects, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
As the primary point of contact for your assigned clients, you’ll guide them through every stage of the engagement by providing clear communication, answering general questions, and ensuring all required information is collected on time. You’ll work closely with internal teams to keep projects moving efficiently while maintaining a professional and supportive client experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for an assigned portfolio of clients.
- Guide clients through each stage of the tax preparation process.
- Communicate updates, timelines, and next steps clearly and professionally.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure documentation and project milestones remain on schedule.
- Monitor client progress using CRM and workflow management tools.
- Respond promptly to client questions through email and internal communication platforms.
- Identify potential issues early and escalate when appropriate.
- Deliver a positive client experience through professional, empathetic communication.
- Recommend workflow improvements that enhance service quality and efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- 24+ months of experience in customer success, client services, account management, or a similar client-facing role.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Experience managing multiple client relationships simultaneously.
- Comfortable working in a fully remote environment.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and a customer-first mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in tax, accounting, or financial services.
- Familiarity with HubSpot or similar CRM platforms.
- Experience supporting international clients or distributed teams.
