Client Project Manager

Job Overview

The Client Project Manager owns the client relationship from initial requirements through delivery. You will lead meetings, document project needs, review technical specifications, monitor budgets, test completed work, and present deliverables to clients. The role requires enough software development knowledge to understand product requirements and prepare clear instructions for developers.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for each assigned client and respond within one business day.
• Explain technical topics in clear business language and keep clients informed about project status.
• Prepare meeting agendas, lead client calls, and document decisions and action items.
• Create plain-English task outlines in Linear within two hours of client meetings.
• Record every client request from email, messaging, meetings, or other channels in Linear.
• Use Claude and Linear MCP to search project information, draft tasks, and maintain project boards.
• Write requirement outlines and review Technical Project Manager specifications before development begins.
• Confirm that technical specifications accurately reflect the client’s intended outcome.
• Conduct user-level quality assurance before completed work is shown to clients.
• Create Loom walkthroughs to demonstrate completed work.
• Track project hours against approved budgets and obtain client approval before work exceeds scope.
• Review client channels each morning, acknowledge urgent matters, and transfer requests into Linear.

Required Qualifications

• Computer Science degree, equivalent technical degree, or completion of a bootcamp.
• Ability to build basic web or mobile applications using modern development frameworks.
• Familiarity with React, Next.js, React Native, or comparable technologies.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to think critically, learn quickly, and manage detailed project information.
• Availability during the core working hours of 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM Eastern Time.
• Willingness to begin in a part-time contractor role with the possibility of moving to full time.

Preferred Qualifications

• 12+ months of hands-on software development experience.
• Basic ability to read Hebrew, as some projects contain Hebrew-language content.
• Experience managing several clients or projects at the same time.
• Previous experience with a software agency or consulting organization.

Technical Skills

• React, Next.js, React Native, or similar modern development frameworks.
• Linear project management software.
• Claude and Linear MCP tools.
• Technical requirements documentation.
• Web and mobile application quality assurance.
• Loom video walkthroughs.
• Project scope, budget, and task management.

Contract Structure

This position begins as a contractor role working approximately 20 hours per week. Gorin Systems may consider moving the successful candidate into a full-time position based on performance.

Work Arrangement

This is a fully remote opportunity. The selected contractor must be available during the company’s core collaboration hours of 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM Eastern Time. The posting lists Jacksonville, Florida, United States as the job location.
