Corporate Security Intelligence Lead (Remote USA)

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a Corporate Security Intelligence Lead to direct its global corporate security intelligence function and develop an enterprise-wide insider threat risk management program. This senior leadership role is responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating internal and external security threats while supporting business resilience and enterprise risk management.

Working remotely, you will collaborate with business leaders and cross-functional teams to strengthen security intelligence capabilities, oversee complex investigations, and provide executive guidance on emerging threats, geopolitical risks, and strategic security priorities.

Job Overview

This position leads the organization’s global security intelligence strategy by combining all-source intelligence, insider threat management, investigative programs, behavioral analytics, and governance. The role serves as a strategic advisor to executive leadership while ensuring security programs comply with regulatory and organizational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and oversee the global corporate security intelligence strategy aligned with enterprise risk management and business continuity objectives.
  • Advise executive leadership on emerging threats, geopolitical risks, insider threats, and strategic security issues.
  • Lead global all-source intelligence operations, investigations, threat analysis, and executive briefings.
  • Establish intelligence collection methodologies, analytical frameworks, and reporting standards.
  • Develop and manage the Insider Threat Risk Management Program, including behavioral threat assessment, digital risk monitoring, and case management.
  • Partner with Human Resources, Legal, Information Technology Services, Compliance, and Privacy teams to address insider risk.
  • Direct enterprise investigative programs while ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Oversee investigator training and investigative best practices.
  • Maintain compliance with privacy, labor, and data protection regulations.
  • Monitor industry trends, benchmark program maturity, and recommend continuous improvements.
  • Build relationships with internal stakeholders, external organizations, and industry partnerships.
  • Design and deliver security awareness, intelligence, and compliance training.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Intelligence Studies, Security Management, Behavioral Science, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Active or in-scope security clearance.
  • Minimum 180+ months of experience in security management with broad security and risk management expertise.
  • Experience leading compliance programs, risk management initiatives, and incident response.
  • Experience managing systems, personnel, third-party vendors, and cross-functional teams.
  • Deep understanding of threat actor methodologies, intelligence tradecraft, and behavioral threat indicators.
  • Strong analytical, investigative, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Experience using insider threat platforms, SIEM technologies, and behavioral analytics solutions.
  • Ability to manage confidential information while operating in high-pressure environments.
  • Ability to work effectively within a matrixed organization.

Preferred Certifications

  • Certified Threat Manager (CTM).
  • Certified Protection Professional (CPP).
  • Insider Threat Program Manager (ITPM).
  • Intelligence Community or Law Enforcement credentials.

Work Arrangement

This is a full-time remote position. Candidates are ideally located in Massachusetts, Washington, DC, or King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. Approximately 10% travel is required.
