About the Role
Hospitable is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead its global finance organization and support the company’s continued international growth.
This executive leadership role is responsible for building a world-class finance function, shaping long-term financial strategy, guiding investment decisions, and ensuring the company continues to scale responsibly across multiple international markets.
Working directly with the Chief Executive Officer, you’ll provide strategic financial leadership while helping transform finance into a key driver of business growth, operational excellence, and shareholder value.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Strategy & Business Growth
- Develop and execute long-term financial strategies that support sustainable business growth.
- Evaluate investment opportunities and recommend capital allocation priorities.
- Provide financial insight that supports strategic decision-making across the organization.
- Partner with executive leadership to balance growth objectives with operational efficiency.
- Build financial models that support forecasting, planning, and investment decisions.
Capital Planning & Investor Relations
- Serve as the company’s primary financial representative for investors, banking partners, auditors, and external stakeholders.
- Help strengthen relationships with current and future investors.
- Support fundraising initiatives and future liquidity opportunities when appropriate.
- Present financial performance and strategic recommendations to executive leadership.
Global Finance Leadership
- Build and lead a high-performing international finance organization.
- Establish scalable financial processes across multiple business entities.
- Promote operational excellence through automation, AI-powered workflows, and continuous process improvement.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop finance professionals as the organization grows.
Financial Operations
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and performance reporting.
- Ensure financial accuracy across multiple currencies and international business operations.
- Improve financial controls, reporting standards, and operational efficiency.
- Monitor business performance using financial metrics and key performance indicators.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with international accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting requirements.
- Oversee financial governance across multiple legal entities.
- Manage relationships with auditors and regulatory advisors.
- Help minimize financial and operational risks while supporting business expansion.
Required Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Significant executive-level finance leadership experience.
- Proven success leading finance organizations during periods of business growth.
- Extensive experience managing international, multi-entity, and multi-currency operations.
- Strong knowledge of corporate finance, financial planning, forecasting, and financial modeling.
- Experience managing cross-border tax and compliance requirements.
- Professional accounting qualification such as CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent.
- Outstanding communication and executive leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently within a fully remote global environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within SaaS or subscription-based software businesses.
- Background supporting marketplace platforms or technology companies.
- Experience in hospitality, travel, or property technology industries.
- Experience transforming founder-led finance operations into mature enterprise finance organizations.
- Strong understanding of recurring revenue forecasting and business performance metrics.
- Experience leveraging AI and automation to improve finance operations.
