Job Overview
As a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), you will provide comprehensive primary and preventative healthcare to military personnel and their families. Your role will include:
- Conducting physical exams, diagnosing illnesses, and managing chronic conditions (e.g., diabetes, hypertension, asthma).
- Performing minor procedures (e.g., suturing, joint aspirations, biopsies).
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests (X-rays, lab work, EKGs).
- Prescribing medications and pain management treatments.
- Completing Preventive Health Assessments (PHAs), deployment clearances, and sports physicals.
