Role Overview

The IMS Device Regional Product Manager plays a pivotal role in driving sales of endoscope repair services across the Upper Midwest. This role involves designing and delivering training for both internal teams and external customers, while actively increasing regional sales revenue and profitability for STERIS’ Instrument Management Services (IMS) division. Ideal candidates may be based in Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Sioux Falls, or Kansas City.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with Account Managers and customers to analyze needs and develop tailored solutions.
  • Deliver engaging presentations for diverse audiences, leveraging advanced sales and customer interaction skills.
  • Identify sales leads and target accounts using market and customer insights to increase regional penetration.
  • Mentor and coach Account Managers on understanding customer needs, selling value drivers, and achieving business outcomes.
  • Assist the Regional Sales Director with training and opportunity planning for Account Managers.
  • Maintain the IMS CRM system to document customer information, sales activities, and relevant data.
  • Conduct customer trainings, including Care and Handling sessions and Instrument Universities.
  • Participate in trade shows and assist with preparation as needed.

Candidate Profile

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma
  • Minimum 3 years of field sales experience in surgical and/or GI devices, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to travel overnight up to 50%
  • Compliance with hospital/customer credentialing requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
