Sydney, NSW – Scentre Group, the owner and operator of 42 Westfield destinations across Australia and New Zealand, is seeking a detail-oriented and skilled WHS Systems and Training Specialist to join their team in Sydney. This permanent full-time role offers an exciting opportunity to enhance the understanding and application of crucial life safety systems within the company.
In this pivotal position, you will play a key role in driving process consistency, improving training programs, streamlining communication, and ensuring robust compliance. Your responsibilities will include implementing digital automation for business-wide systems, contributing to the development of online management systems, clearly communicating system requirements, and delivering engaging training content to various business partners. You will also work closely with the Life Safety Performance and Reporting Manager to achieve these objectives.
Your day-to-day will involve:
- Developing engaging learning materials, including plans, storyboards, and content.
- Maintaining data accuracy through meticulous tracking, auditing, and record management.
- Creating and distributing informative monthly reports and timely safety alerts.
- Enhancing and keeping Life Safety content on the company intranet up-to-date.
- Assisting the business in identifying and implementing innovative safety technologies.
- Contributing to the effective setup and utilization of Life Safety systems.
- Sharing important Management System updates with key stakeholders.

Furthermore, you are skilled in utilizing life safety databases, various technologies, and training tools. Your experience in process improvement, change management, and project coordination will be highly valued. A strong understanding of training frameworks and technology solutions is essential, along with proficiency in platforms such as Microsoft SharePoint, Power BI, Beakon, Hammertech, and Safety Culture. Experience with Articulate 360 is considered a plus.
