This full-time, indefinite Trust Fund position offers a salary range of $120,579 to $132,638 per year.

Opportunity at a Glance:

This newly established role within the NMAA will report to the Chief Financial Officer and Business Manager and will be instrumental in ensuring the museum’s long-term financial sustainability. The successful candidate will manage a budget exceeding $30 million, oversee financial planning and reporting, and drive the development of earned income streams, including the museum store and a new café.

Qualifications:

Applicants must possess a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field, with an advanced degree preferred. A minimum of one year of specialized experience at the GS-12 level or equivalent, demonstrating strong knowledge of financial principles, budgeting, analysis, and reporting, is required.

The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years of progressive experience, preferably within a museum, cultural, or federal setting, along with proven financial acumen, negotiation skills, and the ability to influence executive-level decisions. Experience in retail operations management and familiarity with federal procurement policies are highly desirable.
