Role Summary

The WTR Technician role is designed for professionals responsible for the operation, monitoring, and maintenance of ultrapure water and industrial wastewater systems. Core Responsibility Areas

1. Water Systems Operations and Reliability

The technician monitors ultrapure water equipment and systems in their current operational state and proactively identifies opportunities to improve system reliability and performance.

2. Equipment Monitoring and Quality Control

The role involves overseeing the work of others within assigned responsibility areas to reduce operational risks, maintain system quality, and protect equipment integrity.

3. Communication and Coordination

The technician communicates effectively across departments to ensure alignment, operational continuity, and timely issue resolution.

4. Preventive Maintenance and System Monitoring

Responsibilities include performing regular equipment rounds, recording readings, and maintaining accurate operational logs to support preventive maintenance programs.

5. Troubleshooting and Incident Response

The technician responds to equipment and system failures, conducts initial diagnostics, and supports corrective actions to restore normal operations.

Education and Experience Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Two years of college or technical school education, or equivalent relevant experience
  • One to three years of experience in ultrapure water systems or a related technical field
  • Prior semiconductor industry experience is preferred

Compensation and Total Rewards

The base salary range for this position is $18.60 to $33.50 per hour, depending on duties, location, education, skills, qualifications, and professional experience.
