Team and Department Context
The selected candidate will join the ADAS Steering department. This department is responsible for cross-divisional topics, including strategic alignment, committee coordination, organizational structures, and cross-functional processes.
The working student will support internal communication and coordination activities for approximately 1,300 international employees. The role also includes operational assistance across multiple steering and organizational initiatives while working closely with various stakeholders.
Role Responsibilities and Focus Areas
Internal Communication and Committee Coordination
The role involves preparing and aligning committee agendas, coordinating decisions and follow-ups, and documenting outcomes through structured minutes and reports. The working student will also track committee preparations and ensure timely coordination.
Organizational and Process Support
Responsibilities include building and maintaining organizational structures within planning and collaboration tools such as Confluence and Jira. In addition, the candidate will support overall departmental organization and steering activities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
The working student will serve as an interface between the ADAS Steering department and key internal stakeholders. This includes supporting communication control within the T3 ADAS and AD environment and ensuring smooth information flow.
Preferred Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is currently enrolled in a degree program related to Business Administration, Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable field. A structured working style and strong analytical thinking are essential for success in this role.
The position requires confidence in working independently while contributing effectively within a remote, international team environment.
Skills and Qualifications
Educational Background
Applicants must be enrolled students in a relevant academic discipline, such as business, engineering, or information systems.
Technical and Professional Skills
Strong proficiency in MS Office, MS Teams, Jira, and Confluence is required. The candidate should demonstrate a proactive mindset, high flexibility, and a strong sense of ownership in daily tasks.
Language Requirements
Fluent communication skills in both English and German are essential, including written and verbal interaction with diverse stakeholders.
Work Conditions and Compensation
The position offers flexible remote working options within Germany. The initial duration is 6 months, with the possibility of extension for up to 2 years.
Working hours are 20 per week, with the option to increase to 35 during semester breaks. Compensation is set at 17.80 euros per hour.
