The Role
The Internship / Working Student position in User Experience & In-Car Infotainment offers hands-on experience in UX and interaction design within the automotive context. The selected candidate will actively contribute to pre-development projects that reimagine how users interact with technology inside vehicles.
What You’ll Work On
- User Understanding: Conduct user research to identify user needs, behaviors, and contexts using both desktop studies and fieldwork.
- Requirement Definition: Translate insights into detailed user requirements that guide design and development.
- Interface Creation: Support UX/UI design by adapting and developing interfaces that respond to real-world user needs.
- Validation: Conduct usability and user experience tests, performing both qualitative and quantitative analysis.
- Collaboration: Work alongside engineers, designers, and UX researchers to prototype and evaluate innovative digital experiences.
Skills & Profile
- Currently enrolled in a relevant program such as Human Factors, Psychology, Media Informatics, or Human-Machine Interaction.
- Solid understanding of User Experience (UX) principles and the User-Centered Design Process (UCDP).
- Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
- Competence in data analysis tools such as MaxQDA, R, or SPSS.
- Openness to using AI tools in UX/UI contexts.
- Strong analytical, structured, and dependable work ethic.
- Excellent communication skills in German (B2 level minimum) and English.
