Urgent Requirement for DESCON UAE Shutdown
Descon, a major Pakistani company involved in the oil and gas sector in the Middle East, is currently seeking skilled workers for a shutdown project in the UAE. Candidates should have a minimum of three years’ experience in plant overhauling and be aged between 21 and 45 years. Below are the required positions with the respective daily wages in UAE Dirhams (AED):

Eligibility
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the relevant field.
- Safety-related positions require a minimum of 3 years of experience along with IOSH and NEBOSH certifications.
- Positions such as Driver, Crane Operator, and Forklift/Bobcat Operator require a valid UAE driving license (interviews will be conducted in Lahore only).

Position Descriptions
- Mechanical and Area Engineers – Requires B.E. in Mechanical with 12-14 years in plant maintenance and shutdowns.
- Supervisors – DAE or B.E. with 8-10 years experience in shutdown execution and plant maintenance.
- HSE Supervisors – DAE or B.E. in Mechanical with NEBOSH, 5-10 years of experience in HSE compliance.
Note:
- Interested candidates must bring their updated CV, original educational and experience certificates (with photocopies), original passport (valid for at least a year with three photocopies), CNIC (with three photocopies), next of kin’s CNIC (three photocopies), and two passport-size photos with a white background on the interview date.
- Priority will be given to applicants returning from shutdowns in Abu Dhabi, Oman, or Qatar.
- Employment duration is 40-50 days. The company will provide meals, accommodation, medical, and transport. Overtime pay will be according to Abu Dhabi labor laws.
- Interviews for drivers and welders will be held only in Lahore.
Interview Schedule:
- Lahore: November 14-15 and 16-17
- Sadiqabad: November 19-20 at Descon Technical Institute, National Highway Bypass, Sadiqabad
- Karachi: November 21-22 and November 24
Interviews will be conducted from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
