Position Overview
The National Key Account Manager – Buying Groups plays a pivotal role in expanding the Home Appliance (HA) Division’s presence across retail markets. This individual will lead national-level retail sales operations, nurture long-term partnerships with key retail customers, and ensure the execution of Samsung’s sales and marketing strategies across Italy.
Key Areas of Responsibility
1. Strategic Account Management
- Strengthen relationships with major retail customers at a national level to meet and exceed sales and market share goals.
- Drive the sales of HA products through an assigned portfolio of retailers, ensuring profitable growth.
2. Sales Operations & Forecasting
- Oversee the activities of Field Sales Agencies, providing strategic direction and hands-on support.
- Manage sales forecasting, stock rotation, and inventory planning for optimal performance.
- Monitor sales revenue and cost metrics to ensure alignment with business objectives.
3. Negotiation & Contract Management
- Lead contract negotiations and finalize deals within set timeframes, ensuring consistency across all regions.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Product, Trade Marketing, and Operations teams to roll out promotional campaigns and ensure top-tier customer service.
Candidate Profile
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in Economics or a related discipline.
Professional Experience:
2–3 years of proven experience in retail sales, ideally within General Distribution Systems (GDS) or General Distribution Organizations (GDO).
Technical Proficiency:
Excellent command of MS Office tools and familiarity with digital sales systems.
Languages:
Fluency in both Italian and English, written and spoken.
Personal Attributes:
Analytical thinker, proactive, flexible, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
Travel Requirement:
Up to 60% domestic travel.
