Role Overview

The Financial Planning and Investor Relations Specialist drives strategic development within Electrify America. The position blends rigorous financial analysis with responsibilities for investor engagement and corporate development.

This professional evaluates internal performance data and external market intelligence to identify growth opportunities and refine strategic direction. In parallel, the role manages communication with investors and senior stakeholders, ensuring clarity, transparency, and alignment across the organization and within the broader Volkswagen Group structure.

Core Areas of Responsibility

Corporate Strategy and Financial Planning

The specialist contributes to defining and refining corporate priorities by conducting structured financial analysis and market research. Working closely with senior leadership, this individual translates complex data into actionable insights that guide long-term planning.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the evolution of mid and long-term financial models to enhance transparency around business assumptions
  • Developing relevant financial metrics for business units and tracking performance against strategic objectives

  • Facilitating review sessions with business units to assess achievements and identify corrective actions
  • Ensuring that strategic insights translate into operational impact through close collaboration with teams

This function accounts for approximately 40% of the role’s focus.

Investor Relations and Strategic Communications

The specialist manages engagement with current and prospective investors, strengthening the company’s market position and investment narrative. The role requires precise communication, careful preparation of materials, and thoughtful stakeholder management.

Primary duties include:

  • Organizing and coordinating investor meetings and site visits
  • Supporting investor decision processes through analysis and structured dialogue
  • Preparing senior leaders for presentations and external discussions
  • Responding to investor inquiries with accurate and timely information

Salary ranges by location are as follows:

  • Colorado: $69,900 to $123,100
  • Washington: $69,900 to $134,300
  • New York City: $100,000 to $150,000
  • Westchester County: $83,900 to $150,000
  • Rhode Island: $69,900 to $123,100
