Role Overview

The Selling Guide Contact Center Senior Associate serves as a subject matter expert within Fannie Mae’s contact center. This role primarily involves providing timely guidance on Selling Guide inquiries, mitigating risks, and supporting customers as they navigate Fannie Mae’s mortgage origination guidelines. The associate will also collaborate on policy development, monitor organizational risk, and provide guidance across teams to ensure compliance and effective risk management.

Main Responsibilities

  • Deliver prompt support for selling policy inquiries, primarily via phone.
  • Identify and mitigate selling policy risks affecting customers, groups, or the organization.
  • Coordinate risk mitigation activities across teams and business groups.
  • Analyze selling policy risks and collaborate to develop actionable solutions.
  • Implement strategies to prevent or reduce the impact of selling policy risks.
  • Partner with stakeholders to strengthen policy compliance and operational effectiveness.

Required Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Experience with data and gap analysis, governance, and compliance.
  • Skills in policy creation, impact, and risk assessment, and problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in Desktop Underwriter, Salesforce CRM, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong verbal communication and collaboration skills.
