The Opportunity
The Senior Broker role at ADIB Securities offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced trading professional to manage high-value client portfolios and drive business growth. This position focuses on executing client trades efficiently while fostering strong, trust-based relationships with affluent investors.
Core Responsibilities
1. Client Trade Execution & Advisory
- Execute client orders on the ADX and DFM exchanges while adhering to all market regulations.
- Provide timely market insights and strategic trading advice to maximize client value.
- Monitor market movements, analyze portfolios, and recommend actions aligned with client objectives.
2. Business Development & Relationship Management
- Drive sales growth by identifying new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and digital channels.
- Conduct client meetings to understand investment goals and risk profiles.
- Strengthen client loyalty by delivering consistent, high-quality service and support.
3. Compliance & Regulatory Oversight
- Enforce ADIB and ADIB Securities’ AML/CTF policies, client onboarding standards, and KYC documentation.
- Stay up to date with DFM, ADX, and SCA regulations to ensure full operational compliance.
4. Leadership & Team Support
- Mentor and supervise junior brokers, ensuring adherence to ethical and professional standards.
- Collaborate with the Head of Trading to implement effective trading strategies and performance goals.
- Identify team training needs and contribute to a culture of motivation and performance.
5. Risk & Operations Management
- Identify and mitigate financial, operational, and reputational risks in client transactions.
- Follow up on overdue settlements and ensure compliance with market control rules.
- Maintain proper documentation and communication with clients and market authorities.
Candidate Profile
Education & Certification
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Mandatory: UAE SCA-licensed broker certification.
Experience & Technical Skills
- 5–8 years of hands-on experience in equity trading, portfolio management, and client relations.
- Advanced knowledge of the UAE and GCC markets, including margin trading rules.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Bloomberg Terminal, Reuters Eikon, and financial databases.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proven track record in managing high-net-worth client portfolios or executing large-scale trades.
