About the Role

Nokia is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead strategic quality initiatives and process improvement efforts across its operations in India. The position calls for a proven professional with 15+ years of experience in quality management and operational excellence, backed by a Six Sigma Black Belt certification. Key Mission & Responsibilities

As a driving force behind Nokia’s commitment to quality, the Quality Manager will:

  • Oversee and enhance quality assurance programs across multiple teams.
  • Direct Six Sigma projects aimed at improving process efficiency and reducing defects.
  • Design and enforce robust quality control systems and standard operating procedures.
  • Partner with cross-functional departments to identify root causes and execute corrective and preventive measures.
  • Track, analyze, and report key quality metrics (KPIs) to leadership.
  • Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with ISO standards and regulatory frameworks.
  • Mentor and train teams in Lean, Kaizen, TQM, and other quality frameworks.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.

Ideal Candidate Profile

A strong contender for this position will demonstrate:

  • A Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Engineering with at least 15 years of relevant experience.
  • Deep knowledge of Lean, Kaizen, TQM, and ISO standards.
  • A successful record of leading measurable Six Sigma projects.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience within the telecom, manufacturing, or technology sectors.
  • Mastery of quality tools like DMAIC, FMEA, SPC, Pareto Analysis, and Fishbone Diagrams.

Preferred Experience:

  • Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (mandatory).
  • Exposure to multi-site or global operations.
  • Familiarity with digital quality tools and platforms.
