Role Overview
The Service Leader plays a central role in ensuring a positive customer experience at Chipotle restaurants. This position focuses on delivering safe, high-quality food, maintaining operational standards, and supporting team development. Service Leaders are expected to actively contribute on the restaurant floor, guiding crew members, resolving customer concerns, and ensuring smooth daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Food Quality & Safety
- Guaranteeing that high-quality, great-tasting food is consistently served.
- Supporting food safety practices, including monitoring handwashing, glove changes, temperature checks, and adherence to food safety procedures.
- Customer Experience & Incident Resolution
- Handling customer concerns and ensuring that every guest enjoys a positive dining experience.

- Crew Training & Development
- Cross-training front-of-house crew members and supporting crew performance reviews.
- Developing future Service Leaders and fostering a culture of growth.
- Operational Oversight
- Monitoring crew breaks, shift changes, and line schedules.
- Assisting with office administration duties such as cash handling, banking, and paperwork.
- Ensuring supplies and equipment remain functional and well-stocked.
Candidate Profile

Education & Requirements
- High school diploma required.
- Restaurant experience preferred.
- Ability to speak, read, and understand the primary language(s) of the workplace.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with food safety and health department requirements.
- Knowledge of cash handling policies and administrative procedures.
- Strong communication skills and an ability to train and guide team members.
