Davidson, NC – Trane Technologies, a global leader in creating sustainable and efficient climate solutions, is seeking a driven and skilled Project Developer to join their Life Science Solutions team. This is a full-time, remote position based in the United States, offering a competitive base pay range of $74,000 to $140,000 annually, with the potential for more through a commission/incentive plan.

Your Role as Project Developer:
As a Project Developer, you will be instrumental in the entire project lifecycle, from initial concept to customer acquisition. Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing refrigeration systems and solutions, including project scoping, concept development, and engineering analysis.
- Collaborating with internal teams and customers to define project scope and develop cost estimates.
- Providing technical support to the sales team and participating in strategic job acquisition.
- Managing the design process, including site plans and preliminary engineering documents.
- Continuously improving the effectiveness of the Design-Build Turnkey process.
- Securing customers and ensuring their satisfaction throughout the project.
What You Need to Succeed:
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of refrigeration systems and excellent interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills. Key requirements include:
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent field experience.
- Ability to audit existing refrigeration and control systems and recommend improvements.
- Understanding of construction methods and the ability to work effectively with subcontractors.
- General knowledge of basic engineering, electricity, mechanical REF systems, and the building construction industry.
- Project Management experience.
- (Beneficial) Ability to develop and write REF system-level sequence of operations.
- (Beneficial) Proficiency in Visio, AutoCAD, and/or other design software.
- A valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with a clean driving record.
