Role Overview

The Solution Advisor Senior Specialist – Experience Center Lead oversees the Barcelona Experience Center and drives high-impact customer and partner engagements across regional, onsite, and virtual formats.

SAP Experience Centers operate as immersive innovation environments where organizations explore how applications, data, and artificial intelligence integrate seamlessly to address real business challenges. Through curated storytelling and live solution interactions, visitors gain clarity and confidence to accelerate their digital transformation journeys.

The Experience Center Lead manages the full lifecycle of engagements while ensuring operational excellence within the Center.

Core Responsibilities

Experience Center Business Leadership

The role holder manages the Experience Center portfolio and builds a strong engagement pipeline by increasing field awareness and effectively positioning the Center’s services across regions and market units.

In close collaboration with field stakeholders, the Lead ensures the appropriate value proposition and key services are aligned with strategic account priorities.

End-to-End Customer Engagement Delivery

The Experience Center Lead assumes accountability for successful execution across the full engagement lifecycle, from preparation through post engagement follow up.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Acting as an integral member of the extended Virtual Account Team
  • Forming and guiding execution teams for workshops and innovation sessions
  • Demonstrating disciplined project management throughout the sales cycle
  • Translating executive visions, business challenges, and pain points into compelling engagement themes
  • Delivering structured reporting with measurable KPIs to demonstrate value and return on investment

Additionally, the role requires active participation in account-planning calls, digital team meetings, and business reviews for assigned strategic accounts and regions.

Operational Management of the Experience Center

The Lead oversees daily Center operations to ensure flawless execution of all onsite and hybrid experiences. This includes:

  • Maintaining technical readiness across the Lab and Showfloor
  • Ensuring infrastructure and physical showcases are consistently prepared
  • Guaranteeing a smooth technical setup for every customer and partner interaction

Through operational discipline, the Experience Center becomes a reliable reference environment for innovation storytelling.

Relationship Development and Thought Leadership

The role builds long-term relationships with strategic accounts to develop a strong referenceable customer base.

Moreover, the Lead integrates emerging technologies, industry trends, and market insights into engagements, thereby reinforcing SAP’s position as a trusted innovation partner.

Required Candidate Background

Professional Background

  • Five to seven years of customer experience within presales, solution advisory, consulting, or related disciplines
  • Proven exposure to enterprise sales methodologies and buying center dynamics
  • Experience operating within complex account structures

  • Advanced communication, presentation, and storytelling capabilities
