This phase introduces the ability to create with AI, using sophisticated templates built on Google DeepMind’s image generation model, Nano Banana. Users will gain the power to remix art styles or transform still photos into captivating short videos, all directly from their television interface. The days of struggling to share a great photo album are over; the TV now intelligently curates and enhances the stories for you.

Deep Integration and Personalization

Google Photos’ massive user base underpins the significance of this move. The platform hosts a staggering four trillion photos and videos, with over one billion users actively storing their digital lives on the service. Bringing this colossal library into the heart of the home creates immense value for the user.

Samsung plans to weave Google Photos deep into the core TV experience. Users will find memories naturally surfacing through features like Daily+ and Daily Board, ensuring meaningful moments greet them in context throughout the day. The setup will remain straightforward, requiring only a Google Account sign-in for the memories to appear instantly.

Furthermore, the Personalized Results feature, also slated for a later 2026 launch, will allow users to view related photos as a slideshow based on specific topics, such as “hiking,” “ocean,” or a particular city.
