Role Overview

The Quality Validation Technician plays a vital role in supporting validation activities across the Liverpool site. This includes the qualification, validation, and revalidation of manufacturing processes to ensure consistent performance in line with the highest quality and food safety standards.

Success in this position is demonstrated through active contribution to the implementation of the site validation masterplan. In particular, the technician supports the systematic collation, assessment, and periodic reporting of operational monitoring data. By identifying patterns and trends, the role helps predict performance changes and implement preventive control measures to safeguard product quality and food safety.

Furthermore, the position requires a strong understanding of cross-functional operations. By developing insight into other departments, the technician ensures validation requirements are effectively communicated, understood, and executed throughout the site.

Core Responsibilities

Validation & Process Assurance

  • Support validation activities aligned with the site validation master plan.
  • Assist in generating, executing, and populating validation protocols in collaboration with process and area experts.
  • Contribute to the qualification and revalidation of manufacturing processes.

Data Monitoring & Continuous Improvement

  • Conduct periodic assessment and reporting of operational monitoring data.
  • Identify trends and opportunities to strengthen operational controls.
  • Support initiatives that guarantee consistent product quality and compliance.

Food Safety & Quality Systems Support

  • Collaborate with the Food Safety team on technical investigations, including Corrective Action Reports and Problem-Solving Groups.
  • Support root cause analysis to ensure thorough investigations and effective corrective measures.
  • Assist with change control processes and Standard Operating Procedure development to maintain robust quality controls.

Audit & Compliance

  • Support internal and external audits by demonstrating the validation status of site processes.
  • Maintain awareness of regulatory requirements and best practices through structured training.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Liaise with internal departments to understand site operations and provide validation guidance where required.
  • Promote effective communication and shared ownership of validation information across teams.
