Role Overview

Netflix is seeking a detail-oriented and solutions-driven Asset Operations Manager to join the Consumer Products team. This role is critical for managing the sourcing, quality assurance, and secure distribution of creative assets that support product development and marketing campaigns. The position requires cross-functional collaboration with internal teams, external vendors, and partners to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality assets for consumer products and immersive experiences.

Main Responsibilities

1. Project & Workflow Management

  • Develop and manage comprehensive asset sourcing plans aligned with campaign timelines and go-to-market strategies.
  • Collaborate with Creative teams to develop artwork for style guides, retail, and packaging.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, licensees, and vendors to ensure secure and timely delivery of Netflix IP assets.
  • Track asset milestones, approvals, and dependencies using project management tools (Airtable, Monday, etc.).
  • Maintain cross-functional trackers and communicate asset status, risks, and schedules to stakeholders.
  • Ensure workflows comply with Netflix’s high-security protocols.
  • Continuously optimize workflows for efficiency and clarity across teams.

2. Asset Sourcing, QA, and Distribution

  • Manage incoming and outgoing assets using Netflix’s proprietary asset delivery tools.
  • Serve as the central point of contact for asset sourcing within Consumer Products.
  • Perform technical and creative QA to ensure assets meet format, resolution, and brand standards.
  • Handle diverse asset types, including graphic files, audio, photography, AV, and VFX (3D models, LIDAR scans).
  • Securely watermark and distribute sensitive materials in accordance with Netflix protocols.
  • Maintain reference documents and act as a librarian for high-security assets.

3. Digital Asset Management & System Optimization

  • Oversee ingestion, tagging, and organization of assets in Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems.
  • Maintain accurate metadata standards to improve searchability, clarity of use, and lifecycle tracking.
  • Audit and optimize DAM structure and workflows to meet evolving team needs.

Candidate Profile

Education & Experience

  • 5+ years in creative operations, project management, or digital asset management, ideally in consumer products, licensing, or live-based entertainment.
  • Familiarity with file specs for consumer products and immersive experiences.
  • Experience managing high-security assets with strict IP protection protocols.

Technical & Professional Skills

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Media Encoder), GSuite, Slack, and project management platforms like Airtable or Monday.com.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and cross-functional coordination skills.
  • Comfortable with complex technical asset formats, including 3D and VFX deliverables.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and solutions-focused.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with 3D and VFX workflows.
  • Background in licensing or consumer products for entertainment IP.
  • Knowledge of taxonomy, metadata management, and archival best practices.
  • Familiarity with AI tools for asset management and workflow automation.
