About the Role
As an SEO + AI Search Specialist, you will help clients improve discoverability across platforms such as Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity. You will conduct SEO audits, develop AI search optimization strategies, and collaborate with writers, designers, and technical teams to improve organic visibility.
This role combines technical SEO expertise with emerging AI search optimization strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct technical SEO and content audits
- Identify AI search visibility opportunities and optimization gaps
- Improve visibility in AI-driven search experiences and answer engines
- Lead keyword research and search intent analysis
- Develop SEO-focused content briefs and optimization recommendations
- Review crawlability, indexing, schema markup, and Core Web Vitals
- Analyze performance using GA4, Google Search Console, and SEO platforms
- Collaborate with creative, development, and content teams
- Evaluate emerging AI search tools and workflows
Requirements / Skills
- 5+ years of hands-on SEO experience
- Strong technical SEO and on-page optimization knowledge
- Experience with AI search optimization and answer engine optimization (AEO)
- Familiarity with tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, GA4, and Screaming Frog
- Understanding of structured data and Schema.org implementation
- Strong communication and reporting skills
- Experience working with both B2B and B2C brands
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Agency or enterprise SEO experience
- Experience improving visibility in AI Overviews or conversational search tools
- Strong content strategy and editorial optimization skills
- Familiarity with AI visibility tracking platforms
