About the Role

As a Happiness Engineer, you will support customers through live chat and email while helping them solve technical issues related to WordPress and WooCommerce products. You will also contribute to improving customer experiences by identifying issues, suggesting improvements, and supporting new initiatives.

This role combines technical troubleshooting, customer success, and collaboration within a remote-first company culture.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist customers through email and live chat support
  • Troubleshoot WordPress and WooCommerce issues
  • Guide users through technical and publishing-related challenges
  • Improve customer experiences by identifying recurring issues
  • Collaborate with global teams using Slack and remote workflows
  • Contribute ideas for process improvements and support efficiency
  • Support onboarding and customer success initiatives
  • Maintain high-quality communication with technical and non-technical users

Requirements / Skills

  • Hands-on experience with WordPress and/or WooCommerce
  • Previous experience in customer support, customer success, or technical support
  • Strong written communication skills in English
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
  • Comfortable using AI tools and automation workflows
  • Ability to manage multiple conversations and priorities effectively
  • Interest in helping users achieve success online

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting high-volume SaaS or web-based products
  • Multilingual communication skills
  • Experience creating workflows or productivity systems using AI tools
  • Technical knowledge related to websites, hosting, or ecommerce
