Senior Regional Marketing Manager, EMEA

GitLab is seeking a Senior Regional Marketing Manager to guide integrated field and regional marketing programs across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. This role will develop campaigns and experiences that support pipeline growth while aligning closely with regional Sales, Ecosystem, Product, and Marketing priorities.

Working within GitLab’s fully remote and asynchronous environment, you will manage regional marketing plans, deliver in-person and digital programs, measure performance, and continually improve how GitLab engages enterprise audiences across varied EMEA markets.

Job Overview

The Senior Regional Marketing Manager will own the planning and execution of EMEA marketing initiatives designed to create measurable demand and strengthen regional market presence. The position combines field marketing strategy, campaign execution, event management, budget oversight, performance analysis, and cross-functional coordination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create detailed regional program plans and execute integrated campaigns that support Sales and Ecosystem objectives.
  • Develop field marketing strategies using in-person and digital tactics to engage enterprise prospects and customers.
  • Manage GitLab-hosted events, third-party events, and digital marketing programs across EMEA.
  • Test and refine marketing programs to establish effective regional practices.
  • Analyze campaign performance and communicate results to regional leaders and executive stakeholders.
  • Translate program insights into clear recommendations for different internal audiences.
  • Manage regional marketing budgets, financial processes, and resource allocation.
  • Improve return on investment through disciplined planning and performance measurement.
  • Coordinate demand generation and field marketing activities with Sales, Product, Ecosystem, and broader Marketing teams.
  • Work with agencies and third-party partners to deliver campaigns and events.
  • Help improve processes and operating practices within the Regional Marketing organization.
  • Use AI within daily workflows to improve efficiency, innovation, and marketing impact.
  • Travel throughout the region as required, up to 50%.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in B2B technology marketing, particularly within field or regional marketing.
  • Experience collaborating closely with Sales teams to support pipeline and territory priorities.
  • Ability to create and execute integrated marketing programs from strategy through delivery.
  • Strong attention to operational details while managing multiple regional initiatives.
  • Creative approach to developing new campaigns and programs from the ground up.
  • Data-driven decision-making skills and experience using performance insights to improve marketing strategy.
  • Experience managing or supporting territory budgets and allocating resources across different tactics.
  • Strong organizational, written communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-moving environment.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, Slack, and Google Workspace.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation, reporting, and project management tools.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% in accordance with company policy.
