Key Responsibilities
Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with enterprise customers.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to both technical and executive stakeholders.
- Understand customer goals, challenges, and growth opportunities.
- Ensure customers receive ongoing value from Liquibase solutions.
Account Growth & Revenue Expansion
- Identify expansion opportunities within existing customer accounts.
- Manage contract renewals and account growth initiatives.
- Develop account strategies that support long-term customer success.
- Drive revenue growth through upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
Sales Pipeline & Territory Management
- Create and execute strategic territory plans.
- Manage sales opportunities throughout the full customer lifecycle.
- Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline visibility.
- Track customer interactions, opportunities, and account activity.
Executive Engagement
- Build relationships with VP-level and C-suite decision-makers.
- Present business value and strategic recommendations.
- Facilitate discussions that align technical solutions with business objectives.
- Support enterprise-level contract discussions and negotiations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Customer Success, Sales Leadership, and Product teams.
- Share customer feedback that can improve products and services.
- Support customer adoption initiatives and retention strategies.
- Help drive customer satisfaction and long-term loyalty.
Required Qualifications
Professional Experience
- Minimum 5 years of software sales, account management, or customer success experience.
- Proven success managing complex enterprise sales cycles.
- Experience working with executive-level decision-makers.
- Strong record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
- Experience managing strategic customer relationships.
Skills
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Strong consultative selling and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and opportunities simultaneously.
- Strong forecasting, planning, and organizational skills.
- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering value.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling DevOps, developer tools, database technologies, or enterprise software.
- Familiarity with open-source software business models.
- Experience using CRM platforms such as HubSpot.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies, software development workflows, or CI/CD environments.
- Background supporting Fortune 500 or large enterprise customers.
