Role Summary
The position of Brand Manager Obesity (m/w/d) offers a unique opportunity to shape commercial marketing strategies in Germany. Based in Mainz, the role focuses on advancing Novo Nordisk’s leadership in obesity care by combining strategic planning, digital innovation, and impactful stakeholder engagement.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Market & Brand Strategy Development
Drive the creation and execution of marketing strategies that establish Novo Nordisk’s presence in obesity treatment. - Operational & Local Office Support
Collaborate with internal teams at the Mainz office to ensure seamless implementation of campaigns and initiatives. - Digital Engagement & Innovation
Leverage digital platforms to design inclusive and impactful patient and healthcare professional outreach programs. - Cross-Functional Business Alignment
Work with sales, medical, and operations teams to ensure cohesive execution of commercial goals. - Partnerships & Communication
Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, healthcare providers, and external partners to reinforce Novo Nordisk’s mission. - Product Management & Lifecycle Ownership
Oversee the design, launch, and continuous improvement of obesity-focused products in the German market. - Change Leadership
Contribute to organizational growth by promoting innovative approaches and supporting change initiatives across teams.
Candidate Profile
Education & Experience
- A university degree in marketing, business, life sciences, or a related field.
- Proven experience in brand management, ideally within the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or life sciences sector.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong strategic thinking combined with hands-on marketing execution.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders.
- Digital fluency and an interest in innovative healthcare solutions.
- Excellent communication skills in German and English.
